Mining On Top Africa (MOTA) 2026

PanAfGeo+ will participate in Mining On Top Africa 2026, taking place in Paris, France, from 7 to 8 July 2026.

The event brings together government representatives, mining sector stakeholders, investors, development partners, and experts to discuss the future of Africa’s mining sector, with a focus on sustainability, partnerships, value addition, and responsible mineral development.

PanAfGeo+ participation will provide an opportunity to present the programme’s contribution to strengthening geological knowledge, skills development, and cooperation between African and European geological surveys. It will also highlight the role of geoscience in supporting sustainable mineral value chains, informed decision-making, and responsible investment across the continent.

Participants are invited to learn more about PanAfGeo+ activities, ongoing cooperation opportunities, and the programme’s contribution to sustainable and responsible mineral resources development in Africa.

PanAfGeo+ Country Window DRC at DRC Mining Week 2026

PanAfGeo+ Country Window DRC will participate in DRC Mining Week 2026, taking place in Lubumbashi from 17 to 19 June 2026, within the common Team Europe space. The stand will bring together EU Member States, development cooperation organisations, private sector representatives, and key initiatives active in the mining sector.

On 19 June, CW DRC will organise a dedicated round table on mining waste recycling and circular economy approaches in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The session will bring together experts, institutional representatives, and stakeholders to discuss sustainable resource management, the valorisation of mining residues, and opportunities for responsible investment and innovation.

The event will also provide an opportunity to present the broader objectives of the PanAfGeo+ programme, including its links with the INVEST initiative and cooperation activities supporting the sustainable and responsible development of mineral value chains in Africa.

Visitors are invited to discover project activities, communication materials, and ongoing cooperation opportunities at the Team Europe stand throughout DRC Mining Week.
