The PanAfGeo+ Country Window in Tanzania focuses on strengthening geological survey capabilities and enhancing geoscientific data systems. It supports national institutions in improving their technical expertise and operational capacity, including on environmental aspects.
Activities include capacity building, support for geological mapping, and the strengthening of data management. These actions can in the long-term contribute to improving the availability and use of geoscientific information.
The programme supports sustainable resource governance.
