PanAfGeo-2 supports the training of geoscientific staff from African Geological Surveys through the development and delivery of an innovative training programme that includes the acquisition and development of important professional skills that complement their qualifications and technical skills. The training programme is implemented by world-class geoscientific experts coming both from African and European Geological Surveys.

The Coordination of PanAfGeo-2 is assigned to the BRGM (the Geological Survey of France) in close collaboration with EGS (EuroGeoSurveys). The main topics for the training are apportioned between 8 work-packages: –
